The NAMI Family to Family Education Program is a 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses. According to NAMI National's website, over 115,000 family members have graduated from this national program. The course offers a wide variety of information including: current information about mental illnesses, medications, current research, gaining empathy, learning problem solving, listening and communication techniques, acquiring strategies for handling crises and relapse, focusing on the caregiver, guidance on locating appropriate supports and services and information on advocacy initiatives.

As with all NAMI educational programs, registration and all instructional materials are FREE to participants.

This program is held every Tuesday from 6:30-9:00pm at Christ Community Church for 12 weeks.
